Breathe Hot Yoga is a local, family-owned Seattle yoga studio owned and founded by Amber Borgomainerio and Ross Yearsley. Amber and Ross have a shared vision to bring high quality yoga to Pacific Northwesterners hungry for healthy life challenges and changes.
Amber has been practicing yoga since she discovered Bikram Yoga while attending the University of Washington. She received her Bikram teacher certification in 1998 and has attended regular yoga training seminars with Tony Sanchez since 2011.
Ross was a principal dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet and also danced with American Ballet Theater under Mikhail Baryshnikov. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Washington. Ross works on business development, manages the website and is art director at Breathe Hot Yoga. He is very grateful to be able to practice and teach at Breathe.
Breathe founder Amber Borgomainerio is blessed and excited to share her yoga journey with students in Seattle. Amber has studied with the foremost yogis of this generation and possesses an advanced personal practice that inspires all of her teachers and students.
Rather than a "one size fits all" approach, Amber employs teachers from diverse backgrounds to bring maximum knowledge and ability to the studio. She has a humble curiosity and a passion to help students become the best they can be.

Like Amber, many of our Breathe instructors were trained by Bikram Choudhury or Tony Sanchez. Several instructors have been trained in vinyasa, or flow yoga. And many of our instructors are trained right here at Breathe, in an organic method that creates thoughtful teachers ready to share their individual experiences rather than recite a script.
Our teachers have diverse backgrounds in pilates, dance, sports and martial arts. We all love yoga and the benefits that yoga brings to every aspect of our lives, and we look forward to sharing our knowledge with you.
